MLA Seeks AMRO Facility at Rajamahendravaram Airport
The MLA from Rajanagaram, Bathula Bala Ramakrishna, has asked the central government to set up an Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (AMRO) facility at Rajamahendravaram Airport.
He believes the airport has enough land and can be expanded.
He also wants new flight routes to places like Vijayawada and Kolkata, especially for the Godavari Pushkaralu in 2027.
Additionally, he requested better roads, flyovers, and funding for various projects like bird conservation and temple development.
The MP from the area, Daggubati Purandeswari, has promised to support these ideas.
