Chandigarh Wins Gold for EV Performance

Chandigarh, a city in India, won a big award for being the best place for electric vehicles (EVs) in the country.

The award was given by the government in New Delhi.

A group called CREST, which helps with renewable energy and EVs, received the award on behalf of Chandigarh.

The award is called the Gold Award for Best Union Territory for EV Overall.

It was given at a special event called the Motoring World Green Mobility Awards.

Two important people from CREST, Navneet Srivastava and Sukhwinder Abrol, were there to receive the award.

The award was presented by a big government official named Nitin Gadkari.

Chandigarh won this award because they are doing a great job in making the city cleaner and more ready for the future with electric vehicles.
