Yemen's STC denies disbanding amid protests

The Southern Transitional Council (STC), a separatist group in Yemen, said they are not disbanding.

This comes after some members made confusing statements about the group's future.

The group is supported by the United Arab Emirates and is involved in a disagreement between Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Thousands of people protested in support of the STC in the cities of Aden and Mukalla.

The STC leader, Aidarous al-Zubaidi, fled the country, and the Saudi-led coalition accused the UAE of helping him escape.

The STC called for more protests and warned against any attempts to disrupt their activities.
