Bangladesh Civil Society Seeks Probe Into Hindu Family Murders
Four members of a Hindu family were found dead inside their home in Rangpur, Bangladesh.
The victims included two parents and their two children.
Police detained two cousins and said they were involved in the killings.
Police first gave one description of where each person was killed.
Later, police gave a different description of some of the crime scenes.
Civil society and rights groups said these changes raised important questions.
They also questioned whether two alleged drug users could have carried out the killings alone.
The groups want an independent judicial investigation and clearer evidence about what happened.
