Survey Reveals Well-Being Trends in Indian Education
A big survey was done in India to see how happy and healthy students and teachers feel in schools and colleges.
Almost 5.5 lakh people answered, and most said they feel safe and supported.
Many students said they get good help with their feelings, but some still feel stressed because of schoolwork and other problems.
Teachers and parents also shared their thoughts, saying they feel safe and heard, but there's still room for improvement.
The survey shows that while schools are doing better, they need to keep working to make sure everyone feels happy and supported every day.
A nationwide survey by QS I-GAUGE assessed happiness and well-being in Indian education, involving 5.5 lakh respondents.
67% of higher education students rated emotional and mental support as excellent, but academic stress remains a concern.
Campus safety received high ratings, with 84% of higher education students and 96% of school faculty feeling secure.
Parents expressed high satisfaction with school safety and communication, with 93% confident in on-campus arrangements.
The survey highlights the need for consistent, inclusive efforts to improve well-being across India's education system.
