Exiled East Turkistan Authorities Condemn China-Turkey Engagement
The East Turkistan Government-in-Exile (ETGE) is very upset about a meeting between China and Turkey.
The ETGE says that China is doing bad things to the people in Xinjiang, which they call East Turkistan.
They think Turkey is helping China by working with them and not speaking up for the people in Xinjiang.
The ETGE wants the world to know about this and to help stop what they say is a genocide and colonial occupation.
They also want the people of East Turkistan to have their own independent country.
The East Turkistan Government-in-Exile (ETGE) strongly condemned the recent engagement between China and Turkey.
The ETGE alleges that the growing cooperation has emboldened Beijing to intensify 'colonial occupation' and 'genocide' in East Turkistan (Xinjiang).
During the talks, Beijing called for deeper 'law enforcement and security' cooperation, while Ankara reaffirmed the 'one-China principle'.
The ETGE accused Turkey of being complicit in Beijing's actions and enabling the suppression of East Turkistan's independence movement.
The ETGE called on the international community to condemn Ankara's complicity and support East Turkistan's independence.
