Yash’s ‘Playboy’ Image Fails to Lift Toxic’s Box Office
Toxic stars Yash as a man involved in complicated relationships with several women.
Some viewers may not have connected with this part of the story.
The film includes characters played by Tara Sutaria, Kiara Advani and Rukmini Vasanth.
Producer Raj Kandukuri says having multiple romances is not automatically a problem.
He believes audiences can accept such heroes when the relationships are written convincingly.
He says glamour and intimacy cannot replace strong storytelling.
The film’s earnings have fallen sharply after its opening days.
Its reported collections are still far below the amount needed to break even worldwide.
