Tiger Dies After Two Months of Treatment at Corbett Centre

An injured tiger was rescued from the Fato range on June 26.

It was taken to a rescue centre in Dhela.

The tiger received treatment for almost two months.

It died on Tuesday evening while it was being treated.

Forest officials performed a post-mortem examination the next day.

They also carried out the tiger’s last rites.

Samples from its body were sent to two research institutes.

The tests may help officials examine the tiger’s condition and death.
