Star Air Halts Navi Mumbai Services
Star Air, a small airline, stopped flying from the new Navi Mumbai International Airport just one month after it started.
The airline said this is because their planes need regular check-ups and repairs.
They didn't say exactly when they will start flying again, but it might take about a month.
Other airlines like IndiGo and Air India are still flying to and from this new airport.
The airport is growing and expects to have more flights soon.
The airline connects Navi Mumbai to places like Ahmedabad, Goa, Nanded, and Bengaluru.
Star Air has temporarily suspended all flight operations from Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) one month after its launch.
The suspension is due to scheduled aircraft maintenance, with services expected to resume post-maintenance.
Affected routes include Ahmedabad, Goa (Mopa), Nanded, and Bengaluru.
The airline's CEO, Simran Singh Tiwana, stated that the suspension is a temporary measure and services will resume after maintenance.
Despite Star Air's temporary exit, NMIA continues to scale up operations, with other major carriers like IndiGo, Akasa Air, and Air India operating from the airport.
