Terai Adivasi Mahotsav Debuts in Bagdogra with Cultural Roadshow
The North Bengal Tribal Youth Association is putting on the first-ever Terai Adivasi Mahotsav, a big celebration for the Adivasi people of the Terai region.
It's happening near Bagdogra on August 9th, which is also International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples.
The event kicks off with a lively road show to show off the Adivasi culture.
People from different indigenous groups will come together to share their traditions and celebrate their heritage.
The goal is to remember and appreciate the rich history of the Adivasi people, especially those who have faced challenges in the past.
