Samajwadi Party Protests Ram Temple Donation Theft in Assembly
In Uttar Pradesh, a big protest happened in the state Assembly.
Over 100 members of the Samajwadi Party shouted that the BJP government stole money from a Ram temple.
They wanted the government to explain who did it and why the thieves were not punished.
The protest made the Assembly stop many times.
The BJP leader said the theft was not a problem because the thieves were already in jail.
The protest shows how political parties use big events to argue with each other.
Over 100 Samajwadi Party MLAs staged a dharna in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, demanding answers about alleged theft of Ram temple donations.
The protest forced the Assembly to adjourn multiple times and prompted the Speaker to seek a government reply.
Samajwadi Party leader Mata Prasad Pandey accused the BJP-led government of stealing temple offerings and shielding the perpetrators.
Yogi Adityanath dismissed the theft allegations as a "non‑issue," citing that the culprits were already behind bars.
Eight employees of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust were arrested in June for stealing cash and valuables from the shrine’s vault.
