Telangana Seeks CBI Probe on Kaleshwaram Project
The Telangana government is waiting for a response from the central government about their request for a CBI investigation into the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project.
The state government believes there was corruption and damage to important parts of the project when it was built under the previous BRS rule.
The Chief Minister and the DGP have both asked the central government to look into this.
The government is hopeful because the central government hasn't said no yet.
Meanwhile, a special team is investigating a phone tapping case as directed by the Supreme Court and will submit their report soon.
