YSRCP alleges pressure on Vijaya Dairy chairman to benefit Heritage

In the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, a political party called YSRCP says the government is being unfair to a farmers' dairy company called Vijaya Dairy.

The party says the government wants to help another dairy company, Heritage, and is trying to hurt Vijaya Dairy.

Vijaya Dairy is a cooperative, which means farmers vote to choose their own leaders.

YSRCP says government ministers pushed the dairy's chairman to quit his job.

The party says the chairman was threatened, then had a heart attack and was in the hospital's ICU when ministers made him resign.

YSRCP says the previous government, led by Jagan Mohan Reddy, never interfered with the dairies during its five years.

During big floods in Budameru, Vijaya Dairy lost nearly Rs 20 crore but still kept supplying milk and gave Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

These are accusations from YSRCP, and the article does not include the government's answer.
