Apple Adds Five Devices to Obsolete List
Apple has added five of its old devices to the obsolete list.
This means they won't be repaired anymore.
The devices include the first iPhone SE, the second iPad Pro, and some special Apple Watches.
The original iPhone SE was stopped in 2018 and its successor came in 2020.
The Apple Watch Series 4 was the first to let users take an ECG from their wrist.
The iPad Pro second generation was the first to have a 120 Hz display.
Apple stops repairing devices that have been discontinued for over seven years.
Apple added five devices to its obsolete list, including the original iPhone SE and the second-generation iPad Pro.
The obsolete list also includes the Apple Watch Series 4 Hermès and Nike models, but not the standard Watch Series 4.
The original iPhone SE was discontinued in September 2018 and stopped receiving updates after iOS 15.
The Apple Watch Series 4, released in 2018, was the first smartwatch to allow ECG readings.
The second-generation iPad Pro, released in 2017, was the first Apple device with a ProMotion 120 Hz display.
