CBI to Challenge Sengar's Bail in Supreme Court
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is going to challenge the bail given to Kuldeep Singh Sengar by the Delhi High Court.
The court said that Sengar must have three people from Delhi promise to take responsibility for him.
He has to stay in Delhi while his appeal is being decided.
He also needs to give his passport to the court and visit the police station every Monday at 10 am.
The CBI and the survivor's family opposed the bail because they are worried about the survivor's safety.
Sengar was convicted in 2019 for raping a minor girl in 2017.
He will stay in jail for another case, so even though he got bail for this case, he won't be free.
