Agra Sewage Project Approved, Ghagra, Gomti Rivers Study Planned
The government is giving Agra money to fix its sewage system.
They'll build new structures and pipelines to keep the city clean.
They will also install new pumping stations.
In addition, they're going to study the Ghagra and Gomti rivers to learn how to protect them.
They'll use drones and other tools to collect information about the water and the animals and plants living there.
This will help them come up with ways to keep the rivers healthy for the future.
A Rs 126 crore sewerage management project was approved for Agra.
The project includes 40 interception and diversion structures and 21.20 km of sewer lines.
Eight pumping stations and trash screens will be installed as part of the project.
A project to assess environmental flow in Ghagra and Gomti river basins was also approved.
The river basin study will use drones and on-site monitoring to collect data.
