Karnataka HC Relaxes Travel Curbs on RCB Marketing Head in Stampede Case
A person working for the RCB cricket team, Nikhil Sosale, was allowed to travel for a short time.
This is related to a sad event where people got hurt and died because too many fans were celebrating outside the stadium after RCB won a game.
Because of this incident, some people were arrested, and Nikhil Sosale was one of them.
He was given bail, which means he was allowed to go free under certain rules.
One of the rules was that he couldn't travel very far.
But now, the court has said it's okay for him to travel for a little while, as long as he tells the police where he's going and when he gets back.
This is a change to the rules of his bail.
The Karnataka High Court has eased travel restrictions for Nikhil Sosale, marketing head of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
Sosale is involved in a case related to a stampede incident that occurred near Chinnaswamy Stadium in June.
The stampede happened after RCB won their first IPL championship, resulting in 11 deaths.
Sosale had obtained interim bail, which initially included travel restraints.
The court ruled that Sosale can travel for a limited duration provided he informs the Investigating Officer before departure and upon return.
