CBSE to Offer Science & Social Science at Two Levels
CBSE is making Science and Social Science easier and harder by offering two versions in higher classes, just like they do with Math.
This is to help students who find the subjects too difficult or easy.
The plan is to start with 11th grade in 2026.
The government is also creating new textbooks that fit this new plan.
The new system allows students to choose the level that fits their needs.
From the data from Class 10, about 30% of students choose the easier math option.
