Geeta Bhawan Project Delayed Due To Land Dispute In Manawar
In Manawar, Madhya Pradesh, there's a big problem.
The government wants to build a special place called Geeta Bhawan for senior citizens.
This place would have a big hall for meetings, a library, and places to have fun.
But there's a fight over where to build it.
The city council wants to use an old, empty building in the center of town.
They say it's perfect because it's easy to get to and will help the town grow.
But another government department says no, they want to use land far away.
The city council and many older people in town really want the old building.
They say it will help the town and the people who live there.
But the other department hasn't agreed yet, so the project is stuck.
Geeta Bhawan project in Manawar is delayed due to a land dispute between the municipal council and revenue department.
The municipal council wants to use the Old Tehsil Office premises, a centrally located, unused building.
The revenue department is offering land two kilometres away near Ward No 15 or the trenching ground.
The municipal council president and senior citizens insist the old Tehsil premises would best serve the community.
The proposed Geeta Bhawan includes an auditorium with a seating capacity of 700 and facilities for religious study, libraries, and community interaction.
