MLA Seeks Second Singh Nagar Flyover to Ease Congestion

A local lawmaker wants a new flyover in Singh Nagar.

He says the current railway overbridge causes large traffic jams.

Nearly 1.5 lakh people live in Singh Nagar and nearby areas.

Many residents use the roads to travel for work, school, business and other needs.

The first railway overbridge was built in 1995.

The area has been waiting nearly three decades for another flyover.

Early plans for the project have already been prepared.

The Railway Department estimates that it could cost about Rs 70 crore.
