Madras High Court Lifts ₹154 Crore SEPC Receivables Attachment

SEPC is a company that works on engineering and construction projects.

A court had placed a hold on ₹154 crore the company was owed.

The Madras High Court has now removed that hold.

The court also ended the related enforcement cases and applications.

The parties agreed to settle the dispute for ₹149.5 crore.

Another party paid the settlement, so SEPC said it did not have to pay directly.

The order also removed restrictions on SEPC’s banking operations.

SEPC said the released money and restored banking access would give it more flexibility.

For FY26, the company reported a net profit of ₹53.5 crore.
