Nepal Prepares Rs 20 Billion for Flood Relief, Seeks More

A major flood from Tibet in China damaged parts of Nepal.

The Nepal government has prepared about Rs 20 billion to help people quickly.

This money can be used for rescue, relief and other urgent work.

The government is also trying to obtain another Rs 25 billion from the World Bank.

Ten bank accounts were opened to help organize the money.

A new online portal will collect information about damage and needed supplies.

The Asian Development Bank may also provide grants.

Officials say they will arrange more resources if the disaster requires them.
