DNA Evidence Cited in Delhi Sleeper Bus Gang-Rape Chargesheet
Police have accused a bus driver and conductor of sexually assaulting a minor girl inside a moving sleeper bus.
The incident allegedly happened on the night of August 4.
The girl had travelled from Mainpuri and was trying to reach a relative in Noida.
Police said she boarded the bus near Pari Chowk in Greater Noida.
Investigators collected biological evidence from her clothes and the bus.
They said DNA testing matched the evidence to both accused men.
Police filed a large chargesheet with statements from 51 witnesses.
The court has accepted the chargesheet for consideration, and arguments are scheduled for October 7.
