Nestle India Reports 13.4% Decline in Net Profit
Imagine Nestle India is like a big candy store.
They made less money (profit) this time because things like sugar and chocolate (commodities) cost more.
Also, it cost them more to run the store because they expanded recently.
Even though they sold more candies overall, the extra costs made their profit go down a bit.
However, the prices of some ingredients are stabilizing.
The company's sales increased, but the profit decreased.
Nestle India's consolidated net profit decreased by 13.4% to ₹646.59 crore in the June 2025 quarter.
Revenue from product sales increased by 5.86% to ₹5,073.96 crore.
The decline in profit was primarily due to high commodity prices and increased operational costs.
Domestic sales rose by 5.45%, while exports surged by 16%.
Nestle India shares fell by 4.66% at BSE.
