Survey Reveals How the World Sees India in 2026
Some researchers wanted to know what people around the world think about India.
India is a big country that many other countries know about.
The researchers were from a group called Pew Research Center.
They asked more than 42,000 people in 36 different countries what they think.
The survey happened between February and May.
They found that about 45 out of every 100 people have a good opinion of India.
About 41 out of every 100 people have a not-so-good opinion.
That means more people see India positively than negatively.
The results came out as India celebrated its 80th Independence Day on Saturday.
Overall, the world sees India more positively than negatively.

A median of 45% of respondents held a favorable view of India.
