Two- and Three-Wheelers Restricted on Mangaluru Highway
Due to heavy rain, the government has stopped two- and three-wheelers from using a part of the highway in Mangaluru.
This is to keep everyone safe.
They have to use the smaller roads next to the highway instead.
This rule is in place because of the monsoon season and is expected to be in place until September 2025.
Two- and three-wheeler movement is restricted on a portion of NH-66 in Mangaluru.
The restrictions are due to safety concerns caused by heavy rainfall.
The highway administration cited Section 31 of the Control of National Highways Act.

The restrictions are expected to last until September 2025.
