ECLGS 5.0: 6.74 Lakh Guarantees Cover Rs 2.5 Lakh Crore
ECLGS 5.0 is a government-backed programme that helps businesses get extra loans.

These guarantees cover loans worth about Rs 2.5 lakh crore.

Businesses can seek credit through banks, financial institutions and eligible NBFCs.
The programme will continue until March 31, 2027, unless its Rs 2.55 lakh crore limit is reached sooner.
ECLGS 5.0 has issued 6,73,979 guarantees covering Rs 2,50,024 crore.
MSMEs accounted for 97.3% of guarantees by number and 80.79% by value.
The scheme supports MSMEs, eligible non-MSME businesses and scheduled passenger airlines.
ECLGS 5.0 aims to facilitate additional credit flow of up to Rs 2.55 lakh crore.
The scheme is available until March 31, 2027, or until its guarantee limit is reached, whichever comes first.
