Mukkti Foundation Launches Free Art and Drama Workshops

Smita Thackeray's Mukkti Foundation is starting free art and drama classes in Mumbai schools.

These classes are for kids from poorer areas and will teach them acting, dancing, and drama skills.

The classes are being held in collaboration with Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares.

The goal is to boost the children’s confidence and help them express their creativity.

The foundation already provides meals and wants to give kids a chance to shine in acting, music, and films, regardless of their background.

This is part of the Mukkti Foundation's wider work in education, women's safety, and healthcare.
