The BJP complained about a problem involving polling stations in Khammam.

Its booth agent, V. Rajesh, reportedly asked officials to move four polling stations.

He said the stations had narrow access and not enough space.

The BJP claims his name was then left out of the draft voter list.

Telangana’s top election official, Sudarsan Reddy, responded to the complaint.

Another election official, Dr A. Venkateshwara Reddy, was sent to Khammam on Saturday to investigate.

The BJP says the investigation can help keep elections fair.

The inquiry will examine what happened and whether officials were influenced by political pressure.
