NSE Fixes IPO Price Band at Rs 1,700-1,785
The National Stock Exchange of India is planning to sell some of its shares to the public.
Each share will cost between Rs 1,700 and Rs 1,785.
Investors can apply from September 17 to September 21.
They must buy at least eight shares.
Existing shareholders, rather than NSE itself, are selling the shares.
This means NSE will not receive money from the IPO.
The shares are expected to begin trading on BSE Ltd on September 24, 2026.
Some unofficial market trading suggests the shares could open above the IPO price, but that is not guaranteed.
NSE set its IPO price band at Rs 1,700-1,785 per share, with bidding scheduled for September 17-21.
The issue is an offer for sale of 12,64,36,550 shares, representing nearly 5.11% of NSE.
At the upper price band, the IPO is valued at about Rs 22,568.92 crore, with proceeds going to selling shareholders.
The IPO reserves 50% for qualified institutional buyers, 15% for non-institutional investors and 35% for retail investors.
NSE shares are expected to list on BSE Ltd on September 24, 2026, while reported grey-market premium is Rs 190-200 per share.
