Rahul Gandhi Visits Tamil Nadu for Organisational Meeting
Rahul Gandhi, a top leader of the Congress party, is going to Tamil Nadu on August 1.
He will meet with district party leaders in a town called Mamallapuram.
The meeting is about organising the party better, not about politics with the state chief minister.
He will talk with the leaders and their families for about six hours.
After the meeting, he will leave for Delhi.
The visit is part of a 10‑day training program that helps party members learn how to run the party and connect with people in villages and towns.
Rahul Gandhi will visit Tamil Nadu on Aug 1 to address district Congress Committee presidents as part of the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan training camp.
The visit is purely organisational; no meeting with Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay is planned.
Gandhi will spend about six hours with district presidents and their families, then depart for Delhi by 6 pm.
The 10‑day training camp aims to strengthen grassroots organisation and develop new leaders for the Congress party.
Tamil Nadu Congress leaders, including Ghulam Ahmad Mir and B Manickam Tagore, emphasized the event’s focus on organisational work and future political strategy.
