India, Pakistan Extend Airspace Ban Until September 24
India and Pakistan are still not letting each other's planes fly in their air space.
India has extended its ban on Pakistani planes until September 24, and Pakistan is doing the same to India.
This started because of a bad event in April.
This means that planes have to take longer routes and may cost more.
India extended its airspace closure for Pakistani aircraft until September 24.
Pakistan has also extended its reciprocal airspace restrictions for Indian aircraft to the same date.
The initial ban followed the Pahalgam terror attack.
Both countries issued Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) regarding the extensions.
The restrictions affect commercial and military flights.
