Indore Man Loses ₹70,000 In Fake Bank SMS Scam

A man in Indore received a call from someone pretending to know him.

The caller said he was sending money to the man’s bank account.

Fake SMS messages made it look as if the money had arrived.

The caller then asked the man to send the same money to another phone number.

The man first sent ₹25,000 in two payments.

Later, more fake messages persuaded him to send another ₹45,000.

He discovered the trick after checking his real bank statement.

Police have registered a case and are investigating.
