Andhra Pradesh to Launch Free Bus Travel Scheme on August 15
Starting August 15, women and transgender people with proof of living in Andhra Pradesh can ride certain buses for free.
This program is called 'Stree Shakti'.
You'll be able to use regular, express, and some other bus services for free.
However, special buses like non-stop or air-conditioned ones aren't included.
The government is also making buses safer by adding cameras and improving the stations.
This free travel program was promised during the election to help women.
