Nellore City Constituency to Add 10 New Polling Stations
Election officials in Nellore are planning to create 10 new places where people can vote.
They also plan to move 4 of the current voting places to different spots.
The head election official met with people from different political groups to talk about these changes.
The politicians asked if families could vote at the same place.
They explained that it's hard for older people and families when they have to go to different voting spots.
The election officials listened to these ideas and will consider them.
This is all part of getting ready for the elections next year, making sure everything is fair and clear.
Ten new polling stations are proposed for the Nellore City constituency.
Four existing polling stations are planned for relocation.
Nellore Municipal Commissioner Y.O. Nandan met with political party representatives.
Political parties requested that family members be assigned to the same polling booth.
These changes are part of the Special Summary Revision (SSR) 2025 process.
