Maharashtra CET Cell Launches District Outreach
The Maharashtra CET Cell has started a new program to visit different districts in the state.
The goal is to tell students about the entrance exams (CETs) they can take to get into colleges for courses like engineering, pharmacy, and more.
This is especially important in places like Dhule, Nandurbar, and Nanded, where many students don't know about these exams.
Every year, over 10 lakh students sign up for these exams, but the CET Cell noticed that not everyone knows about all the options available.
So, they are going directly to the students to help them learn more.
Maharashtra CET Cell launches outreach program to boost awareness of entrance exams.
Program targets districts with low registration numbers, including Dhule, Nandurbar, and Nanded.
Aimed at addressing gaps in awareness about professional education pathways.
Over 10 lakh candidates register annually for CETs for admission to professional courses.
