Analysts Outline Rumored iPhone 18 Pro Upgrades and Higher Pricing
Apple is rumored to be preparing a new iPhone 18 Pro.
It may be announced at an event in September 2026.
The phone could use a newer and more efficient 2-nanometer computer chip.
It may also have 12GB of memory to help run demanding features.
The main camera could change its lens opening to control light and background blur.
A new Apple modem may help the phone connect to satellites automatically in areas with weak coverage.
The screen sizes may stay the same, but the Dynamic Island could become smaller.
These upgrades could make the phone much more expensive than earlier Pro models.
The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to launch at Apple’s anticipated September 2026 hardware event.
Reports point to an A20 Pro chip built using TSMC’s 2-nanometer process and potentially 12GB of RAM.
The Pro models may receive a mechanical variable-aperture 48MP main camera and Apple’s second-generation C2 modem.
Structural changes could make the Dynamic Island smaller while retaining 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch display sizes.
Analyst estimates suggest a $250-to-$300 price increase, potentially placing the base model above Rs 1.5 lakh.
