Nadia Sawalha Threatens Legal Action Against ITV Over Loose Women Removal
Nadia Sawalha is a TV presenter who appears on a British show called Loose Women.
In December 2023, she started talking publicly in support of Palestine.
She says that after that, the TV company ITV kept taking her off the show.
She believes she was treated unfairly because of her opinions.
Her lawyers sent ITV a letter saying the company discriminated against her.
They say her beliefs are protected by a law called the Equality Act 2010.
Nadia says she never talked about Palestine on the show itself.
She tried to fix the problem with ITV before going to court.
Now she is threatening to take legal action.
She says she is sad that it has come to this.

She claims ITV repeatedly removed her from the panel after she began publicly supporting Palestinian rights in December 2023.
Her lawyers, the European Legal Support Center, sent ITV a pre-action letter alleging direct and indirect discrimination and harassment over her anti-Zionist beliefs, which they say are protected under the Equality Act 2010.
Sawalha says she never discussed Palestine directly on Loose Women and was told: "It's all a bit noisy out there for us."
She first joined Loose Women in 1999, returned in 2013, and said she tried to resolve the matter with ITV before pursuing legal action.
