Inter-state fraud and theft gangs busted
Two different groups of criminals were caught by the police.
One group cheated a man from Punjab out of a lot of money by promising to double it.
They were caught in Bihar within three days of the complaint.
The other group was stealing cars and SUVs from different places.
The police found and recovered 11 stolen vehicles and arrested three people involved in this theft.
The first case was led by a police officer named Nitika Gehlot, while the second case was investigated by the Anti-Auto Theft Squad.
Inter-state fraud gang cheated Rs 1.90 crore from Naresh Joshi, a Punjab resident.
Main accused Pankaj Kumar Lal and two others, Kaushal and Rajnish, were arrested in Bihar.
The gang was busted within 72 hours of the complaint being filed on January 17, 2025.
The operation was led by SP (Railways) Haryana, Nitika Gehlot.
The victim was lured with false promises of doubling his money and securing high profits through loans.
