Pakistani Woman Kills Daughter in Smoking Argument
A mother in Pakistan named Nabila Ahmad got into a big fight with her 16-year-old daughter, Ayesha, because Ayesha didn't like her mother smoking in public.
The argument got so bad that Nabila strangled Ayesha and then ran away.
The police caught Nabila after someone in the family told them what happened.
The police are gathering evidence, and Ayesha's body was taken to a hospital for an examination.
This is not the first time something like this has happened in Pakistan.
In June, a 17-year-old social media influencer named Sana Yousaf was also killed by a relative.
A 45-year-old woman, Nabila Ahmad, strangled her 16-year-old daughter, Ayesha, after an argument over smoking.
The incident occurred in Basti Sokar, Bahawalpur district of Punjab, Pakistan, approximately 400 km from Lahore.
Ayesha often argued with her mother about smoking in public and would try to stop her.
Nabila fled the scene after the crime, but the police arrested her after a family member reported the incident.
The body of the girl has been shifted to the Yazman THQ Hospital for a postmortem examination.
