Haryana CM Says Technology Can Cut Farm Costs

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said technology can help farmers spend less money.

It can also reduce the amount of manual work needed on farms.

He said useful technology should be affordable and easy to repair near villages.

Farmers were encouraged to test their soil and use the right amount of fertiliser.

He also suggested using less water and trying different crops.

Small farmers could share expensive machines through groups or rental centres.

Village youth could learn to operate and repair farm equipment.

The government is supporting natural farming and solar pumps.

Saini said technology should ultimately improve farmers’ earnings.
