Salad Dressings Recalled Over Foreign Objects
A company called Ventura Foods LLC is recalling some salad dressings because they found tiny pieces of black plastic in one of the ingredients.
These dressings were sold in stores like Costco and Publix in many states across the U.S. The dressings include things like Caesar, Italian, and ranch.
If you have any of these dressings, the company says you should stop eating them and return them for a refund.
Hidden Valley Ranch says their products sold in stores are not part of this recall, but a special version for restaurants is.
Ventura Foods LLC is recalling 3,556 cases of salad dressings sold at Costco and Publix due to foreign objects.
The recall includes various types of salad dressings, such as Caesar, Italian, and ranch.
The issue was caused by black plastic planting material found in the granulated onion ingredient.
The affected dressings were sold in 42 locations across 26 states in the U.S.
Costco has urged customers to stop eating the recalled dressings and return them for a full refund.
