Sensex, Nifty end mixed amid RBI policy, Middle East watch

Imagine a big scoreboard for companies called the stock market.

In India, the two biggest scoreboards are the Sensex and the Nifty 50.

On Wednesday, August 5, both scoreboards moved just a tiny bit, which people call a muted day.

That happened because the Reserve Bank of India, the bank that takes care of India's money, decided to keep the interest rate the same.

On Thursday, the market also moved only a little because investors were waiting to see if there would be peace in the Middle East.

Many companies shared their report cards, showing how much money they made.

LIC, a big insurance company, earned much more than last year, and companies like Trent and Britannia also did well.

Ola Electric said it wants to work with Axis Energy to build huge batteries that can store power, up to 20 GWh by 2032.

Some companies like Dabur and Alkem Labs received warnings from the US Food and Drug Administration about their factories.

Investors are watching closely to see what happens next.
