Two Chennai-bound Diversions Land Safely After Technical Issues

Two passenger planes were sent to Chennai because of technical problems.

The first plane was a Malaysia Airlines flight traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Jeddah.

Its second engine had a problem, so it changed course and landed safely.

There were 186 people on board, and no injuries were reported.

The airport prepared emergency teams before the plane arrived.

Later, an Air India Express plane traveling from Tiruchirappalli to Singapore also diverted to Chennai.

That plane carried 170 passengers and landed safely as well.

Engineers were checking both aircraft, while normal airport operations continued.
