Rory Scovel to Star in ABC Comedy Pilot 'Do You Want Kids?' Opposite Rachel Bloom
A new TV show is being made for ABC called 'Do You Want Kids?'.
It's a comedy about a married couple, Rosie and Alex.
Rachel Bloom plays Rosie, and Rory Scovel will play Alex.
The show will use a special way to show two different stories.
One story will be about what happens when they decide to have a baby.
The other story will be about what happens if they decide not to have a baby.
This is like a 'Sliding Doors' kind of story.
The show's creators want to see how their lives change depending on this big decision.
Rory Scovel has acted in other shows and movies before.
The people making the show are looking for a good connection between Rachel and Rory.
Rory Scovel has been cast as the male lead opposite Rachel Bloom in ABC's comedy pilot 'Do You Want Kids?'.
The single-camera comedy explores how the lives of a married couple are dramatically altered based on whether they have a child.
The show uses a 'Sliding Doors-style' format to show two different potential life paths.
Rachel Bloom co-wrote the pilot script with her husband, Dan Gregor.
The casting of the male lead was a careful process to ensure good chemistry with Rachel Bloom.
