HC Clarifies No Action Against Journalist
The Delhi High Court said they don't want to do anything against a journalist named Manisha Pande.
They also said they don't want to stop the media from reporting.
This happened after the court said some strong things about her words on a TV show.
The court was hearing a case about copyright and defamation.
They called the lawyers on Friday to make this clear, even though the case wasn't supposed to be heard that day.
Delhi High Court clarified it has no intention to act against journalist Manisha Pande.
The court stated it is not trying to gag the media following its earlier remarks.
The remarks were made during a case involving TV Today and Newslaundry.
The court had objected to the use of an unparliamentary word and Pande's reporting style.
The clarification was issued on Friday, even though the case was not listed for that day.
