Guntur library chief urges readers to install State Library App

A lady named Bhimaneni Vandana Devi helps take care of libraries in a city called Guntur.

She met with library officers at the Guntur District Central Library on Monday.

She asked people to download a special app called the State Library App on their phones.

The app lets people use library services in a digital way.

Vandana Devi said libraries are like homes of Goddess Saraswati, who is the goddess of knowledge.

She said the State government wants to make libraries into modern knowledge centres.

The government also wants to encourage students and young people to read more.

Libraries in the Guntur district are being digitised with help from CSR funds and the government.

This means books and library services will be available through computers and phones.

That way, more people can enjoy reading and learning.
