Lawyers in Krishna District Boycott Court over Timing Change
Lawyers in a district are not going to court to work because they are angry about a new rule.
The rule says that when a lawyer dies, a special meeting is held at 4:30 pm to remember them.
The lawyers don't like this because court is still happening then, and they are busy.
They used to have these meetings at 11:30 am.
They held their own meeting at 11:30 am to remember five lawyers who died.
The lawyers are showing their anger by not going to court.
Lawyers in Krishna district boycotted court on Thursday.
The boycott was in response to High Court Circular No 10/25.
The circular changed the timing of reference sessions for deceased advocates.
Lawyers object to the 4:30 pm timing, as it conflicts with court proceedings.
A reference meeting was held at 11:30 am at the Bezwada Bar Association.
