The Indian Railways is adding special Kashmiri vegetarian food to the Katra-Srinagar Vande Bharat train!
Starting in the second week of July, passengers can enjoy local dishes like ambal kaddu (sweet and sour pumpkin) and paneer chaman.
This is like trying out the local flavors.
The railway company is working with famous hotels and restaurants to make this happen.
If you don't want Kashmiri food, other options like upma are available.
This is similar to what they have done on other trains, to let travelers experience different regional foods.
