Tata Trust Seeks Relief, Warns ₹400 Crore Grants Delayed

There is a group of helpers in India called the Sir Ratan Tata Trust.

This trust gives money to hospitals, schools, and people who need help.

A government office told the trust it cannot hold its meetings for now.

Without meetings, the trust cannot approve around 400 crore rupees of help money.

That is enough money to do a lot of good things!

The trust also owns a big part of a famous company called Tata Sons.

Tata Sons wants to give a large amount of its profits to its owners, and the trust needs its share to keep helping people.

An important Tata Sons meeting is planned for August 18.

The trust is asking the government office to let it meet again so nothing gets delayed.
